Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Licences (Certification of Plant Users & Operators) Regulations 1994
The regulations require a person using or operating specified plant, or doing certain work with plant, to hold a certificate of competency.
- It is an offence for a person to do the work without the appropriate certificate
- It is an offence for an employer to allow an employee to do the work without the appropriate certificate
Once you and your employer is satisfied that you have gained sufficient experience in the operation of the mobile plant or equipment, or experience in the scope of work, an authorised Certificate Assessor must be contacted to organise relevant assessment to be carried out.
If your employees had no formal training and access to information about safe operation of plant and assessment requirement, we can help. Please feel free to take a look at our Victorian Workplace Safety Training services
We are Authorised WorkSafe Assessors of the following types of plant and we will conduct the assessments at your worksite.
